Karen, I'm sorry that I can't help you out. I love kohlrabi, but always eat it raw. If you have any luck with cooking it, please share!
ReplyDeleteI'm Chinese and my mom always just stir-fried julienned kohlrabi in canola oil, sometimes with some shredded pork tenderloin (if you are not vegetarian). Otherwise, I think garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes would work. She also pickled matchsticks of it. I think kohlrabi makes an especially lovely pickle.
